Every ALS journey is unique, and John Drury’s story began with a subtle sign—his struggle with music. “Welsh men were famous for their singing,” remembers his widow, Ann. “When he had trouble singing, we knew something was wrong.”
A revered Chicago news anchor, John faced ALS with resilience, devoting himself to raising awareness and funds for ALS care and research. The Les Turner ALS Foundation became an invaluable source of support for him and Ann.
