Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all the things we’re grateful for. Most of the time, it’s the simple things we appreciate the most, like a nice warm meal with our family or tucking our kids in at night. Every day we have our friends, family and health should not be taken for granted. Take it from Matthew Scott Usher, a person living with ALS, «Don’t wait for tomorrow, we have no way of knowing what tomorrow holds…
My wife and I have three wonderful children ages 19, 10 and 9. But I don’t know if I will be able to see them graduate from school, get married or have their own children…because I have ALS.
But your support gives me hope for a better quality of life with my family. Because of you, the Les Turner ALS Foundation is able to give me the resources I need to make modifications to my home, including a stair lift. Now I can continue to help put my children to bed each night.
The Les Turner ALS Foundation has treated me and my family with respect and compassion. They come into my home and address my personal needs, even before I know what those needs are. They are there when I need them. And when my wife and kids need them. They have become a part of our family.
Without the Foundation, I don’t know where I would turn. And with your support I have hope. Please give today.
Everyone’s future is hopeful when we come together as a family. We are so thankful to have you as a part of our Les Turner ALS family. Help us continue to provide care to people living with ALS, a community of support and hope for a cure.
P.S. When you become a monthly donor, we can count on you to be a vital source of support and hope not just today, but all year long. It’s secure, flexible, automatic and you can sign up today at HelpCureALS.org.
