Running On Kindness and Generosity
«My grandma was one of the most influential people in my life, for so many reasons,» shared Taylor Davis, a member of our Team Race for ALS.
«She taught me the importance of being kind and generous to others. During these incredibly challenging times, I think about how she might have reached out and given her time and resources to those who need it.»
Despite the cancellation of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this month, it was those very lessons that drove Taylor to complete all 26.2 miles this past Saturday in memory of her grandmother, Harriet, who passed away from ALS in 2011.
Not only did Taylor cross the «finish line» in support of our Les Turner ALS family, she even fulfilled her fundraising commitment, raising over $2,000! Thank you, Taylor, for your dedication to supporting those living with ALS. If you’re interested in running to support people and families living with ALS, let us know>>>>
