DESCRIPTION:8th Annual ALS Awareness 5k\nSaturday\, August 17\nEmden\, IL\n8:30am – 5k Start\nJoin the Emden\, IL community for the 8th Annual ALS Awareness 5k on Saturday\, August 17! While the chip-timed race is competitive\, all types of runners and walkers are welcome. And it’s more than just a race – there’s a post-race meal\, raffle\, silent auction and more! Partial proceeds from the event benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation \nAs an added bonus in 2019\, there will be a kids dash fun run before the 5k at 8am for just $10. This is a non-competitive event to give kids ages 9 and under another way to participate and be a part of raising money to support people living with ALS. \nOnline registration closes at 4pm on Thursday\, August 15!
